Camground Rules
CAMPGROUND RULES
· Campground fees are payable at registration. The earliest check in time is 1:00 PM. If you expect to arrive after 6:00 PM please contact the office ahead of arrival to make late check-in arrangements. Check out time is 11:00 am. Please check out or re-register before 11:00 am. If you require an earlier check-in or later check-out time please contact the office.
· Quiet Hours 10:00 pm-7:00 am are strictly enforced.
· All visitors must check in and out with the office and leave the campground by 11:00 pm. Overnight visitors/vehicles must be registered and paid for in advance.
· Children and teenagers must be on their site under parental supervision by 9:00 pm.
· Discharging firearms or fireworks is strictly forbidden.
· Ponds and swimming holes are natural features and may contain hazards. No lifeguards are on duty. Swim at your own risk.
SITE RULES
· Only one recreational vehicle or one tent per site.
· Tent sites are limited to 4 adults per site, including visitors.
· Keep campsites free of debris. Dispose of trash in the nearest dumpster.
· Only small safe campfires are permitted and must be contained inside the provided fire rings at all times. This is the state law. All fires must be attended at all times.
· We love our trees. Please treat them kindly by not hanging or tying anything to them or abusing them in any manner.
· Please help conserve water. You must obtain approval from the campground office to wash your car or RV. Car or RV washing is only allowed if a pressure washer is used to conserve water.
VEHICLE RULES
· All persons must have a valid driver's license to drive any motorized or electric vehicle. Children should NEVER be allowed to drive any motorized vehicle in the campground including golf carts, ATVs, or other vehicles.
· Vehicles must have proper lights for driving at night and follow the manufacturer's specifications for seating capacity.
· Remove keys from all motorized vehicles when not in use.
· Motorized scooters, golf carts, and ATVs SHOULD NOT be used for joyriding. These vehicles are not toys and should only be used for transportation.
PET RULES
We are animal lovers, very fond of pets, and appreciate the fact that people recognize their pets to be an integral part of their family. However, no aggressive pets or any that have previously bitten or attacked people or pets are allowed. Additionally, breeds of dogs that are by nature, history, or perception aggressive, such as Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, and Wolf Hybrids, require authorization from campground management before being permitted on the property. If you have a dog of this breed type please contact the office first before making your reservation and do not bring a dog onto the property that you feel may be aggressive towards people or other dogs under any circumstance.
· Owners must pick up after their pets.
· All pets must be kept on a leash and under the owner's control at all times.
· Pets are not allowed in the pool area or any park building, including restrooms and showers.
· Owners are responsible for their pet's behavior.
· If you leave, please take your pets with you. Pets may not be left unattended.
· If your pet is creating a problem, the management will require that the owner take appropriate action.
GOLF CARTS
· All drivers must have a current driver's license to operate a golf cart on the property.
Golf carts must have working headlights, and tail lights and be in good working order to operate on the property after dark.
· Consuming alcohol while driving a golf cart is not permitted. Driving while under the influence is not permitted at any time on the property.
· All drivers must drive at 10mph at all times.
· Children are not allowed to drive golf carts including but not limited to using the steering wheel, gas pedal, or sitting on the golf cart pretending to drive. Children should remain seated on the golf cart at all times.
· All drivers and passengers should remain seated, this includes keeping passengers seated on the back of the golf cart at all times. Guests are not permitted to hang off of the golf cart at any time while on the property.
· ·Guests will respect their neighbors and be aware of quiet time while traveling after hours.
· All drivers must stay on the road at all times. Drivers are not permitted to drive through sites or common areas on the property.
· A copy of your current golf cart liability insurance must be on file at the office. Failure to do so will result in losing your golf cart privileges on the property. All golf carts stored on the property must be insured.
ALCOHOL
The campground is a family fun environment. State regulations allow for the quiet enjoyment and consumption of alcohol. Public intoxication is not permitted. Alcoholic beverages are permitted on-site only. No alcoholic beverages are permitted at any public place in the campground.
Intoxicated guests will be asked to return to their sites immediately and may be required to vacate the premises.
SMOKING
· State regulations prohibit smoking within any of the buildings on the property, including but not limited to bathhouses, camp stores, clubhouses, laundry rooms, pavilions, and lodgings. This also includes the swimming area. Cigarette bins are located outside the shared facilities for convenience. Please do not leave cigarette butts on the ground and be sure to extinguish all smoking material completely before disposing of them.
· The recreational use of marijuana is not legal in the state of New Hampshire and is not permitted on campground property. Obviously, intoxicated guests or guests found with paraphernalia will be asked to dispose of such items immediately and may be required to vacate the premises.
FIRES & FIREWOOD
· According to the New Hampshire Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, you are permitted to have a fire.
· For a fire pit up to 4 feet, you can have a fire from 5 pm to 9 am, but it must be at least 50 feet away from any vehicles, tents, or buildings. It's important to note that these fires must be completely put out by 9 am.
· For small fire pits (30 inches or smaller), you can use them 24/7. However, they must be at least 25 feet away from any vehicles, tents, or buildings.
· Firewood is available for purchase at our camp store.
· Please remember that you are camping on private property. Do not cut or strip bark from any tree, whether living or dead, and do not scavenge for wood or collect sticks from the wooded areas. If you have cut down or damaged one of our trees, you will be charged $50 per inch of trunk diameter 12 inches above the ground to replace the destroyed trees
ELECTRICITY USAGE POLICY
At Rocky Valley Resort, LLC, we aim to provide a clear and fair policy regarding electricity usage for all our guests. Please review the following guidelines to understand how electricity charges will be applied based on your rental period:
Daily and Weekly Rental Rates
- Guests who reserve sites using daily or weekly rental rates will have electricity included in the rental cost. There will be no additional charges for electricity for these rental periods.
Monthly and Seasonal Rental Rates
- Guests who book sites using monthly or seasonal rates will be responsible for the cost of their electricity usage.
- Electricity usage will be recorded at the end of each month. Rocky Valley RV Resort utilizes an advanced, cloud-based, electricity monitoring solution that records electricity usage at each site. An invoice detailing the electricity consumption for the previous month will be generated and sent to the guest within 7 days of the end of the month.
- The rate for electricity will be billed at $0.20 per kilowatt-hour (kWh).
- Invoices for electricity are due within 7 days from the date of receipt—failure to pay your electricity bill within 7 days.
- Electricity bills not paid in full within 7 days from the date of receipt will result in a $50.00 late fee. Electricity bills not paid within 30 days from the date of receipt will result in forfeiture of your seasonal reservation and expulsion from the park.

RESERVATION DEPOSIT
We accept reservations a maximum of one year in advance of your arrival date.

An additional deposit may be required during special events or holiday weekends and will be set at the sole discretion of Rocky Valley Resort. An advance cancellation notice of one week is required to ensure a full refund of the deposit. The balance of your reservation is due upon check-in. Additional information on our Cancelation and Refund Policy is below.
Weekly Reservation Deposit A 50% deposit is required for the total reservation to secure your reservation. An additional deposit may be required during special events or holiday weekends and will be set at the sole discretion of Rocky Valley Resort. An advance cancellation notice of one week is required to ensure a refund of the deposit. The balance of your reservation is due upon check-in. Additional information on our Cancelation and Refund Policy is below.
Monthly Reservation Deposit A 50% deposit is required for the total reservation to secure your reservation. An additional deposit may be required during special events or holiday weekends and will be set at the sole discretion of Rocky Valley Resort. An advance cancellation notice of one month is required for a full refund of the deposit for a monthly reservation. Monthly reservations include all reservations that are 21 days or longer in length of stay. The balance of your reservation is due upon check-in. Additional information on our Cancelation and Refund Policy is below.
Seasonal Reservation Deposit A 50% deposit is required for the total reservation to secure your reservation. An additional deposit may be required during special events or holiday weekends and will be set at the sole discretion of Rocky Valley Resort. An advance cancellation notice of one month is required for a full refund of the deposit for a seasonal reservation. Seasonal reservations include reservations for the season, typically From May 1 through October 31st.
CANCELATION & REFUND POLICY
Daly & Weekly Reservation Cancelation Policy: Cancellation requests made more than 30 days in advance of your reservation date will be refunded in full less the $3.50 non-refundable reservation fee. Cancellation requests made more than 7 days in advance of your reservation check-in date will be refunded less the cost of one night's stay and the $3.50 non-refundable reservation fee. Cancellation requests made less than 7 days in advance of your reservation are not eligible for refund. Rocky Valley RV Resort staff, at its sole discretion, may provide a reservation credit for canceled reservations. Reservation credits can be used for future stays at Rocky Valley RV Resort.
Monthly & Seasonal Reservation Cancelation Policy: Cancellation requests made more than 30 days in advance of your reservation date will be refunded in full less the $3.50 non-refundable reservation fee. Cancellation requests made more than 7 days in advance of your reservation check-in date will be refunded less the cost of one week's stay and the $3.50 non-refundable reservation fee. The standard weekly rate for that period shall apply and can be verified at http://www.rockyvalleyresort.com. Cancellation requests made less than 7 days in advance of your reservation are not eligible for refund. Rocky Valley RV Resort staff, at its sole discretion, may provide a reservation credit for canceled reservations. Reservation credits can be used for future stays at Rocky Valley RV Resort.
